The short version

Page Calendar does not collect, share or sell your personal data. It has no user account, no database, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Your calendars, reminders and contacts are read and written directly on your device, through Apple's own iOS calendar and contacts systems. They are never sent to us.

What the app uses, and why

Calendars and reminders

Page Calendar exists to display and edit the events already on your iPhone. It reads and writes them through EventKit, Apple's system framework, and only after you have granted permission. The app has no calendar service of its own: what you see is whatever your device already holds, including any iCloud, Google or Exchange accounts you have set up in iOS. Nothing is copied off the device, and we never see it. Reminders are read the same way, if you grant access to them.

Contacts

If you allow access to contacts, the app reads them on the device so it can show contact-related events such as birthdays. That information stays on the device and is not transmitted.

Location

Location is only involved if you add a location to an event, using Apple's own event editor. The app does not track your location, store it, or send it anywhere.

When the app connects to the internet

Page Calendar is designed to work offline. There are three moments when a connection is involved, and none of them send us anything about you.

• This privacy text. The Privacy screen inside the app downloads its text from a file we host on Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt, Germany, so that it can be corrected without releasing a new version of the app. As with any request to any website, the server receives your device's IP address and the usual technical details of the request. That is used solely to deliver the file. It is not linked to you, to your calendar, or to anything else, and we do not build any record from it.
• Links you tap. Opening our website, the App Store page, or the support email address hands you over to Safari, the App Store or Mail. What happens then is covered by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.
• The rating prompt. If the app ever asks you to rate it, that is Apple's StoreKit doing the asking. Apple does not tell us whether you rated it or what you said.

There are no third-party SDKs in Page Calendar — no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising libraries, no social logins. Nothing in the app reports back to us.

Legal basis

Under the GDPR, the calendar, reminder and contact data the app touches is processed on your device, under your control, on the basis of the permission you grant in iOS. We are not a recipient of it. For the single request that fetches this privacy text, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in making the app's privacy information available and keeping it accurate.

How long anything is kept

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to keep or delete. Your events and contacts remain on your device and in whatever accounts you sync with iOS, for as long as you keep them there. Deleting Page Calendar removes the app's own settings from your device; it does not delete your calendars, which belong to iOS.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or the UK you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You can exercise any of these by writing to support@pagecalendar.com.

In practice we will usually have to tell you that we hold nothing about you, because we do not. Two things are more immediately useful than a request to us:

• You can withdraw calendar, reminders or contacts permission at any time in Settings › Apps › Page Calendar. The app will simply stop showing that information.
• Deleting the app removes its settings from your device.

Complaints can also be made to your national data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

Children

Page Calendar is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will appear here and on the Privacy screen inside the app, with a new date at the top.
